Our Wedding

Rylan and Remi grew up together, attending the same middle school and high school, sharing classes and many of the same friends along the way. Over the years, they naturally gravitated toward one another and spent much of their time side by side, even while remaining just friends. Their friends, however, were convinced there was always something more between them and never missed an opportunity to play matchmaker (they knew what they were doing). After graduation, the two went their separate ways for college until a Christmas break back home brought them back together. Rylan attended Texas A&amp;M while Remi went to Texas State, beginning their relationship long distance for a semester before Rylan eventually traded his maroon in (for more maroon) and transferred to Texas State.Since then, they’ve celebrated many of life’s biggest milestones together and are now preparing for their greatest commitment yet: marriage. Grounded in their faith and committed to honoring God in all they do, Rylan and Remi are deeply grateful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the family and friends they love most.

What should I wear?

We are requesting formal attire, meaning long dresses and full suits. For the ceremony, please err on the modest side (no cleavage, no cutouts, etc.). Feel free to take advantage of the time gap to do a quick outfit change before reception. Because we understand “formal” attire can mean different things to different people, feel free to reference this curated <a href="https://bit.ly/4dgip5h" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Pinterest board</a>. Please also remember to avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory dresses or suits.

This is the major local airport. It is about 26 miles from the ceremony venue and about 40 miles from the reception venue.

San Antonio International Airport

Although this is technically the closest airport to the wedding venues, this is primarily a private airport and does not currently offer regular commercial flights.

New Braunfels National Airport & FBO

This is a beautiful boutique hotel option located in Downtown New Braunfels. It is less than 1 mile from the ceremony venue and about 17 miles from the reception venue.

This is a great affordable hotel located about 3 miles from the ceremony venue and about 18 miles from the reception venue.

Courtyard by Marriott New Braunfels River Village

This is a great affordable hotel located about 3 miles from the ceremony venue and about 17 miles from the reception venue.
