Rylan and Remi grew up together, attending the same middle school and high school, sharing classes and many of the same friends along the way. Over the years, they naturally gravitated toward one another and spent much of their time side by side, even while remaining just friends. Their friends, however, were convinced there was always something more between them and never missed an opportunity to play matchmaker (they knew what they were doing).

After graduation, the two went their separate ways for college until a Christmas break back home brought them back together. Rylan attended Texas A&M while Remi went to Texas State, beginning their relationship long distance for a semester before Rylan eventually traded his maroon in (for more maroon) and transferred to Texas State.

Since then, they’ve celebrated many of life’s biggest milestones together and are now preparing for their greatest commitment yet: marriage. Grounded in their faith and committed to honoring God in all they do, Rylan and Remi are deeply grateful to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the family and friends they love most.
