When do I RSVP?
We will start accepting RSVP responses when formal invitations go out around September. For now, we just wanted to give everyone ample notice to plan for travel, work, etc. Once you receive your formal invitation, please RSVP by December 12.
Do I really need to RSVP?
Yes! We need formal responses from everyone, even if you have already told us you’re planning to attend. This is so that our wedding planner can capture your dietary restrictions, accommodation needs, etc.
I don’t see the RSVP page!
If you are not seeing the RSVP page on the wedding website, that likely means that you are early or late to the RSVP party. The RSVP page will open once formal invitations go out around September and will close after the RSVP deadline on December 12. If you are within this window, please email our planner at planning@gardeniawed.com to see if maybe there is an error with the website. If you are looking before the open date, just check back after you receive your formal invitation. If you are looking after the close date, please email our planner at planning@gardeniawed.com to update your RSVP response.
Can I bring a plus one?
When you go to the RSVP page online, it will note whether or not we were able to allot a plus one. We are limiting additional guests to ensure we are celebrating with our closest friends and family. We also have to consider the venue's allowed capacity. If there is someone you would really like to bring, please reach out to us far in advance from the wedding date. There will not be extra seating for unexpected guests.
Are children allowed?
Your child(ren) should be included within your invitation on the RSVP page. If they are not, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make arrangements if possible. We kindly ask that you do not just show up with them as we need to provide our vendors with accurate guest counts beforehand.
The guest on my invite can't come, can I bring someone else instead?
Please check with us first, especially if we don’t personally know the guest you would be bringing instead.
My RSVP status changed!
Please email our planner at planning@gardeniawed.com to update your RSVP response.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony time will be provided closer to September when formal invitations are sent. Please do not arrive extremely early (45+ minutes). Arriving significantly early will cause us to be hidden away sooner than planned, shortening our time for any pre-ceremony photos.
What should I wear?
We are requesting formal attire, meaning long dresses and full suits. For the ceremony, please err on the modest side (no cleavage, no cutouts, etc.). Feel free to take advantage of the time gap to do a quick outfit change before reception. Because we understand “formal” attire can mean different things to different people, feel free to reference this curated Pinterest board. Please also remember to avoid wearing white, cream, or ivory dresses or suits.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No! We will be charged a fine if any outside alcohol is brought to the venue. All beverages will be handled by the bar. We recommend bringing some cash to tip the bartender as well as your ID just in case.
Is there a hotel block?
We are still finalizing hotel accommodations. Details will be added to the "travel" page soon.
Can I take pictures during the wedding?
Please do not take photos or use your phone during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer who will be capturing all of the beautiful moments, and a cell phone is a very unsightly photobomb. Please also do not bring any sort of professional camera or block the photographer.
I have more questions!
Please email our wedding planner at planning@gardeniawed.com. Please also try to avoid texting us questions the week of the wedding. Feel free to also call or text our planner at 602-529-3430 the week of the wedding.
